Q: Why do I need Fresh’n Brew2®?
A: Fresh’n Brew2® makes tap water “softer” and prevents scale from forming in your coffee maker.

Q: How is Fresh’n Brew2® different from a liquid descaler?
A: Fresh’n Brew2® prevents scale build-up while liquid and powder descalers are used to clean the coffee maker. Cleaning with traditional descalers must be done frequently and typically leaves a chemical after taste in your brewer. So use Fresh’n Brew to prevent the problem instead of treating the problem!

Q: Why do I need to descale my machine?
A: If you use hard tap water eventually scale will form on boiler parts. Over time, scale builds up in your coffee maker and causes it to clog, produce only a partial cup or stop working altogether. For Fresh’n Brew2® to work effectively, you should descale your brewer (unless it is new) before using Fresh’n Brew2®. Use Brewer Magic™ for a safe and effective liquid descaler.

Q: How do I know if I have scale build up?
A: Most municipal tap water contains calcium and magnesium which cause boiler scale build-up. If you notice water spots on your coffee maker, that is a tell-tale sign of hard water.

Q: Why can’t I just use vinegar?
A: Vinegar, along with other chemical cleaner/descalers, can react with plastic or rubber internal parts and the odor and taste is difficult to remove. And again, vinegar and chemical descalers DO NOT prevent the problem. Only Fresh’n Brew2® prevents scale build-up

Q: How do I use Fresh’n Brew2®?
A: Cartridges are inserted in the plastic fixture in your Keurig brewer. See product page for instructions or refer to the user instructions provided by Keurig. Replace cartridges every 60 days.

Q: How long do I leave it in the reservoir?
A: Cartridges should be replaced every 60 days and pods should be replaced every 90 days.

Q: Is it safe to leave it in the reservoir all the time?
A: Yes, Fresh’n Brew2® will continue to soften water in the reservoir

Q: How do I know it is working?
A: Fresh’n Brew2® is odorless and tasteless so you enjoy great coffee.
